Cheapest Flight To Washington - Bloating Remedies For Travellers

Or it may just appear to start without any apparent reason, it may start after eating and drinking certain things. And your stomach blows up like a balloon, maybe a little nauseous, windy, sometimes from out of the blue you feel gassy. Are awful, as you know, the symptoms. You suffer from stomach bloating, if you are like me.

Does this happen to you too? I particularly find that my bloating and general stomach problems seem to strike with a vengeance whenever I'm away from home travelling or on holiday.

Different mealtimes and altered eating habits, i suspect it might be to do with a change in routine. It could be for many reasons. Why are us bloating sufferers more prone to bloating when travelling?

What are the best bloating remedies for when the dreaded bloat strikes, it got me thinking: when travelling?

Try to eat at regular times 1.

This is a recipe for instant bloating, if you're prone to a sensitive stomach anyway. There Ire also other times when I ate a couple of meals soon after each other. When I was travelling recently there Ire times when I had quite a wait till mealtimes. I tend to have bloating problems when I eat at unusual times.

Try to eat at regular times when travelling, as far as possible.

Don't eat too late 2.

And then had to spend more time wandering around looking for something to eat, i didn't get back to hotel till around 7. Sight-seeing and doing the whole tourist thing, on a recent trip I'd been busy all day.

I then walked back to the hotel on a full stomach and went straight to bed, added to this. By the time I'd finally eaten I was so hungry that I simply ate too much at once.

Causing fermentation and bloating, this leaves food undigested. Eating dinner late means that you go to sleep while your body is still trying to digest your food.

But try not to eat too late if you can at all help it, i know, it is not easy when travelling.

Watch what you eat 3.

Eating this way definitely leads to bloating! This sort of food is often low in fiber and can be greasy and salty. Fast food, it is easy (and often necessary) while away from home to rely on quick.

I almost instantly felt less bloated. Which did wonders for me, i made a conscious decision to eat a salad meal once a day, on my recent trip. Make a real effort to eat something fresh and raw a few times a day.

Try to keep up the fiber and fresh food intake, my tip: as difficult as it is while away from home.

Take a probiotic 4.

And they're usually small and portable too, such as in yoghurt drinks, probiotic products are easy to get hold of. Probiotics are great for returning the balance of friendly bacteria to your stomach.

Your stomach will thank you for it. Try to take a probiotic drink or two each day, if you are travelling.

Carry your favorite bloating remedy 5.

I almost never leave them at home if I'm travelling anywhere. It is peppermint oil capsules, for me. I know from fellow bloating sufferers that everyone has their favorite bloating remedies.

It's doubly important to know you can get some bloating relief when you need it most, because travelling can upset your digestion.

I popped a couple of peppermint capsules after each meal and it definitely helped relieve my bloating symptoms.

Bon voyage!
