Christmas Vacation - Massachusetts Getaway Vacation Part 1 planning a Nantucket Island,
In this series of articles I will offer you suggestions about planning your Nantucket Island Getaway Vacation. Massachusetts and how to get around the island during your stay will be some of the first decisions you will have to make when planning a visit to Nantucket Island in Massachusetts, how to get to Nantucket, when to visit. You will be more likely to miss the heavy weekend traffic over the Cape Cod Canal bridges and all the large crowds at ferry docks and airports. This would be Monday through Thursday. It is probably the best idea to make your travel plans to arrive and depart during mid-week. When is a good time to arrive and depart Nantucket Island in Massachusetts?
Plan to arrive at one of these two major airports, wherever you are coming from. Green International Airport). New Jersey, o Continental Express Airlines: Provides a seasonal service to Nantucket from Newark.
They have hourly departures. O Island Airlines: This airline provides convenient year-round service between Barnstable Municipal Airport in Hyannis and Nantucket Memorial Airport.
And Canada. They also have private charters available to over 500 cities in the Eastern U.S. O Linear Air: Flies from Boston and New York City to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard.

Arriving by Bus
Some bus services include: You will need to check the bus schedule and details before finalizing your vacation plan schedule. Is that some of the bus connections may require a separate taxi ride to the Nantucket ferry terminal, however, of particular note. There are several convenient bus services to key connection points for Nantucket, if you want to travel by bus to Nantucket.
